flightsimg
Hi! Eventually I did dare! Here are some ships from the freeware I made to populated the expenses of sea in FSX! I already made that freeware some times ago. Enjoy!:cool: A ship on the lane in the English Chanel! Ships in the Gibraltar Straight! Exiting the Suez Canal into the Red Sea! The harbor of Singapore! Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. Rupert
That looks very nice Gerard. However, I'm sure due to my language issues, I didn't really understand your statement. Did you design this yourself or download it as freeware? Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
flightsimg
Hi Michael! It's more likely my language issues with English :) Don't forget I'm French :):) No, I didn't download that. I designed it myself (and it's found on the archive here, with my name "Guichard" in the search). It's part of some freewares I make. And the real story goes that my wish to have those add-ons I was designing for my use turned into freewares for the community of flightsimmers, comes from that I participated into that forum and that I found flightsimmers nice and worth the effort :) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. Rupert
Hey Gerard, What a generous gesture!! I have found some of the most satisfying software to be freeware that people like you contribute!! I'll be checking that site out!!:cool: Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
flightsimg
Usually, with 'Guichard' in the search engine of Flightsim.com, you will fine all my creations. You will just have to have the FSX SDK installed, to use a tool inthere to compile some files. If any trouble, just mail me in private in case when. Cheers! And it's not generous:cool::cool: it is just add ons I make for my own use. And it's not too much work to make a quick package and some instructions of use! But anyway, flightsimmers are a fine society and it's always a pleasure to participate! flightsimg
:)I should not tell you that, but I think that pax -- and even cargo -- subs existed or still do. I just hope they have not been transformed from WW2 submarines because harbor pilots will struggle to get the ships in! A submarine reaching to the harbor is navigating in surface!:cool: sigh!... :) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. flightsimg
Thank you Dan for trying to populate FSX seas. I think the weight upon fps depend on each user's rig on the other hand, and from where you watch the ships also maybe a factor, for exemple. One may also decrease the percentage of boats seen!
