Hello Gentlemen,

yes, i´m still alive and simming. Again a Long time no see here. Maybe because it is a MSFS Screen Shot Forum, but i settled over

to X-Plane, now since one year, what became, more and more, a good idea for me. Here are some shots of it.

The phenomenal Airfoillabs Cessna 172 at Gabriels Farm, near Arlington/KAWO, north of Seattle, WA.

This is all payware so far, but, again, i must recommend to try the X-Plane Demo for free. Take the Cessna, make a pattern at Seattle

and believe what you see: It´s true!

Well, Folks, Pictures say more than words:

Thorsten, I had to look several times more than twice to see if those really aren't photos. BTW, be careful this time of year around there, trumpeter swans are around.

I have Xp-11 boxed version, it is good but there are few drawbacks with it still, but they are being worked on.

Lots of new aircraft being added plus textures for existing ones, I've done a few.

The file system is different to FS, it is a new learning curve for me, go to X-plane.org and have a look there too.

Another example of what is available in X-Plane, you can now get Mesh overlay for different areas.

These were posted on the X-Plane website.

X-Plane rocks, my friends. I really do not miss neither FSX nor P3D, but i understand that many people don´t want to change, due to tons of additional software. But, who says that you are not able to have them both, FSX/P3D and X-Plane 11?

Have a great time!

Thorsten
