Cloudrunner
Hi. Does anyone have any advice about using Instant Scenery 3 on FS2004 run on Win7? I have been using EZ-Scenery for years, but wondered if it's time to try a different software. Any advantages / disadvantages etc. that you guys have experienced? tgibson_new
I use IS3 and wouldn't switch back to EZS. Advantages: 1. Cheaper 2. Still supported by the author. 3. Uses the mouse instead of slewing around, which at first seems worse but is actually much better. 4. Allows you to select more than one object and cut or copy them, then paste them elsewhere. Gives you a group move capability. 5. Allows you to place an array of identical objects, which makes fence object placement much easier. 6. Allows you to search your scenery and label all library objects at an airport with library name, object name, or placement file name. Invaluable. 7. Allows you to create exclusion rectangles. 8. Allows you to create terrain features (FSX and later). 9. Has more options (thumbnails, how the mouse button works, etc.). Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
