Working with multiple object bgl

I'm trying to add night textures to a freeware airport for my own use. The buildings I'm working with are "bundled" into a single bgl file. I'm only using 3 of the 45 objects in the bgl file. I've copied and darkened the DDS files, renamed them ***_lm.DDS and used MCX to add them to the models. They look great in MCX. My question is how do I get the night textures to "stick" to the buildings without exporting them individually? How do I do this within the original bgl? Is it possible? If not and I have to export them individually how will this play with the scenery? What will FSX read- the original or the exported bgl? I'm not sure if this is an MCX issue or FSX. Thanx in advance.
