kingnorris
1. You should post this in the outer marker. Has nothing to do with FSX. 2. Why does it bother you? Sentry_FiveZero
Just wondering, what interests do they have in Atlanta! And yes, it was intended for another forum but I accidentally posted it here, so I just left it! And no, it doesn't bother me, I was just curious! Is there an auto manufacturing plant there that uses parts made in East Asia? Ray Hff
Simply, Atlanta is the largest gateway to the Southeast. (And there are many auto plants in the Southeast.) Try Googling America's largest airports.
amberdog1
KATL being the busiest airport in the nation and world plays a part. There are 2 flights in to Atl for China Cargo. I understaand they also contract for DHL both directions and Im sure that has something to do with it as well. Hope this helps.
ceparsons
Porsche has a new plant right there on the east side of KATL (Old Ford Plant), BMW has a plant up in Greenville-Spartanburg, SC, and KIA has a plant at West Point, GA (SW of KATL) I imagine there is some cargo destined for there. Then there is Wal-Mart distribution centers all over the SE area dealing with chinese-made products (Not meant to be judgemental, just what I see in the stores)
