"Why I fly #27: Backcountry~Hell's Backbone" Gullies, gorges, valleys - call them what you will - often leave some very narrow ridges that allow for interesting and scenic drives (or flights). Hell's Backbone Rd, off Utah route 12 is one such road into the backcountry just a bit north of Escalante UT [1L7] .
