idunno
Does anyone know if it is possible to get rid off or change the awful taxi light triangle most AI aircraft have? At night when taxiing these aircraft omit a large triangular light on the ground in front of them, which looks unrealistic and shows underneath/through buildings etc. All my AI traffic is Aardvark, DJC, TFS, OSP etc.
tvieno
That triangle is the light from the landing/taxi lights of the planes. Sadly, it is a part of the airplane's model and cannot be removed. So your solutions would be either fly and land only during daylight hours, remove the AI planes, or suffer with it. http://my.flightmemory.com/pic/tvieno.gifhttp://www.vatsimsigs.co.uk/Status/1136602.jpg
idunno
Thanks for reply - I thought that may be the case. Similar to how some model builders put the nav and strobe lights into the mdl file. I know someone has shown how to change this mdl file to get rid of the light, but changing an authors mdl file I do not feel is correct, plus you have to install a programme to do this anyway. It's a shame but it will not stop me flying at night or turning off my AI traffic. I replicate real commercial flights and if the only time is at night then I will still fly it. I much prefer day flights though as you see a lot more detail.
CRJ_simpilot
Wouldn't the mdl call for an effect file? OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
