mrzippy
Doubt that there is a problem with the panel.cfg. What did you possibly delete to cause this to happen? A gauge file perhaps? Maybe a new addon caused it when it was installed. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
johankotze
I did instal AeroSim 787 and unistalle it when saw the 737's radio stacks are black. But it does not correct the problem. All aircraft radio stacks are fine except for these 2 aircraft

All aircraft radio stacks are fine except for these 2 aircraft Best guess is that something changed or corrupted the radio stack gauge in your Main Gauges folder. It would be 737-400.radio-stack.gau Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

miatamariner
I ran into exactly this same thing about a week ago. Had another forum member work on it with me and neither of us (he is very proficient with FSPS and panel creation) could fix it. When we called the radio stack in FSPS, it showed and was listed as a valid gauge. When we went to the panel of the 737-800 in FSX, it only xhowed as a black box. No bitmap. We have no idea where the corruption initiated from and the only way to solve it was a re-install of FSX.
il88pp
File in library. Replaces all default gauges and effects. Do a search. Forgot filename. Could be called gaugefix.zip [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

il88pp
The error is in the panel.cfg file. 737-400.cab does not contain gauges comm 1.xml comm 2.xml etc [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
familton
It is a dll and not a .cab file. Bob.
il88pp
you're right. I was looking at "boeing 747-400.cab". I was thinking of default fsx gauges. 737-400.dll is not a default fsx file. (and those lines in his .cfg are not for the default fsx radio's) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
Are you sure you have 737-400.gau installed? I have it, and when I enter that section into a panel.cfg, the gauge shows. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
