llivaudais
Greetings. This "Why I fly #6: Can pigs fly?" offering was initially just a "sound test" recording but I liked how it came out (high winds and all) so I just kept it. You'll see a little of Turkey(?) instead of the deserts of North Africa I was planning... available on YouTube: ------------------------------------------------------------ technical: Sim - Prepar3d 2.5 (1920 x 1080 30fps) capture - OBS titles created in Gimp editing - Blender (final mp4 at 720p) duration - 1:22 (too short but I WILL revisit sometime and maybe bring a friend) music - none Aircraft - F-111G by Alphasim and Karol Chlebowski (piggtb8.zip) Terrain Mesh - FreeMeshX http://ninetwopro.com/freemeshx/ Long flights can get tedious; short flights can tantalize and frustrate but... Hope you enjoy anyway, Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: self-built i7-4790 at 4 GHz; GA-Z97X mobo; GTX 970; 16GB gskill; quiet, fast and cool running. Win 7/64: 840 EVO OS; 840 EVO (500G) game drive; Win10/64: 850 EVO (500G) for OS and games A few Flightsim videos on YouTube at CanyonCorners
PhantomTweak
Yet another great vid! Interesting sound effects too. I flew that bird in a Sim OutHouse event, little race around SE Asia in the mid-60's era. Loved it. It flies great (once you learn it's individual ways :) ), but I kept it down at around 500' AGL, and even that is a bit high, from what I read. Hand flew the entire course. Terrain Following by hand is a blast, especially at .9Mach! Fantastic cockpit too. Some of the gauges work great in other planes too :) I saw a little picture someplace, with a caption: Live your life like you're flying an F-111 through New York! I'm not THAT good with it though :D Thanks for another enjoyable vid! Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!
