Laptop Sparkle Solved

I'm posting this in case it helps someone else get rid of "sparkles" or "glitter".

 

When I cannot get to my dektop, I run FSX on a HP laptop with Intel HD Graphics 4000. For a long time I battled getting rid of the "sparkle" in the scenery and also avoiding blurries.

 

The combination that finally worked best was this:

 

--Set the display to "Quality", not to "Performance" or "Balanced".

 

--Within FSX, set filtering to "Bilinear" with Anti-aliasing checked on.
