Looking at latest monitors for FSX in 2017.

Since I don't understand much about monitors and how they would impact FSX I would appreciate any input or suggestions from those that do. After noticing some of the new wide-screen monitors now available I started looking into the idea of upgrading what I currently have. I am getting great frame rates currently with my current settings and set-up.

I'm currently using two AcerAL2216W monitors for my front panels. (Hoping to eliminate the bezels in the middle of my screen as you get with a two monitor set-up.) I also am using an NEC Multisinc LCD1560NX for some of my instruments down below. Also, using TripleHeadToGo Digital SE.

Current 2 monitor panel width = 40.3" wide x 13" high. (These numbers include frame perimeter.)

LG 38UC99 38-inch Curved Ultra-Wide = $1,499.00. Panel is 35.3" wide x 14.5"

24:10 aspect ratio

Curved IPS panel with 3840x1600 pixels

FreeSync

Max Resolution & Refresh 3840x1600 @ 75Hz

FreeSync Range 52-75Hz

Response Time (GTG) 5ms

Video Inputs 1 x DisplayPort, 1.2 2 x HDMI, 2.0 1 x USB-C

I didn't see much about this but figure it's probably not very good for what I'm looking for:

SEIKI 40" SM40UNP 4K MONITOR = $455.00. Panel is 36" x 21".

Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Refresh Rate: 60Hz

DP & HDMI Support: 480I, 480P, 720P, 1080I, 1080P, 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160 @ 60 Hz only DP1.2)

VGA: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1360x768, 1920x1080, 2048x1152

DVI-D Input: One, DP 1.2: Two VGA Input (15 pin, D-Sub): One, HDMI 1.4 Input: Two (One MHL)

Dimension w/o Stand (WxHxD): 35.86"x20.82"x2.36"

Questions:

Would my frame rates necessarily drop? Is going from two monitors to one a benefit here?

Is it fairly easy to get the FSX screen onto such a large monitor without looking stretched?

Thanks
