exportman
Was a FS gamer for several years and then got away from it. Now want to get back into the fun. Am ready to buy a new desktop but want to be sure that it will run FS2004 adequately. Specs: Intel i5 3.2 ghz 16gb ram windows 7 integrated graphics. It's the integrated graphics that has me confused. I guess that nvidia is better but that's not an option for this Dell. What does "integrated graphics" mean and will it work? Any other comments and suggestions will be really appreciated
alhefner
Integrated graphics refers to the graphics processor built into the Intel CPU chip and supporting components on the motherboard. It will probably 'work' but you may not be satisfied with it. If you're getting a desktop computer and there is a usable empty expansion slot, you can add in a good video card and skip the integrated graphics...this also assumes the power supply that comes with your Dell has the capacity to run the new graphics card...
