fontuckydick
Hello everyone. I installed the AC560AV3 Milton Shupe Aero-commander in my Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit system a few months ago. It runs fine, but I noticed a red beacon light under the fuselage that doesnt work. Its there but non-functional. How do I get it to work? I know it has something to do with re-writing notepad etc. in the aircraft folder. Please explain how to do it in plain English for a simple minded guy like me, thanks. Wing_Z
OK your light.6 isn't right. delete the .fx at the end: light.6=1, -1.1, 0.0, -4.7, fx_beacon_commander and if it still doesn't work, use mine.

Great. I swapped in your complete light section. It worked. I want to thank you very much for this.
Wing_Z
You're very welcome... Just so you know: the lighting effects files reside in the "Effects" folder. These end in ".fx" but the [lights] section just calls them with the file extension. For your version there would need to be an effects file called "fx_beacon_commander.fx "
