ronzie Posted December 4, 2016 Share Posted December 4, 2016 I did not read the KB article but a long time ago I went into some of the USB inbuilt controller properties via device manager and disabled the power management feature for those controllers and inbuilt hubs. ("Allow win to disable device to save power if not being used. Also regarding battery savings for laptops.") Just locate the controller for your external powered hub so that connection is not dropped.
