I joined SOH, downloaded it and like I always do unzipped the contents to a temporary folder. Then opened it, copied and pasted the "Airplane" folder to my FSX>SimObjects>Airplane folder and copied and pasted the "effects" folder to my Effects folder. I ran FSX and no Soloy 206 anywhere. I opened my FSX file and looked in the Airplanes file and sure enough it was there. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Obviously, Technologically Challenged Bill has, as usual, overlooked some small but important step. Please inform and educate me. You should have copied the contents of ...\FlightPort Soloy Mark 1 V1.0\Airplanes (6 folders) and pasted it in ...\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes. Make sure you do not have ...\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\Airplanes. ...copied and pasted the "effects" folder to my Effects folder... Same as with the Airplanes folder, make sure you do not have ...\FSX\Effects\Effects. The plane should be listed under Cessna-Soloy, not just Cessna. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Both the land a water reacted as I hoped they would. Nice flying aircraft.
