CRJ700 Aspen Landing (WORST Landing Ever!)

Well then... This was beyond bad!

Coming in towards Aspen, ATC choose to give me Runway 33. No problem, except that it has no ILS System. I can land manually, no problem. Weather? All seemed good, but went horrible as I neared the ground. Runway 33 itself is not a great Runway, surrounded by steep mountains on all sides!

Air Traffic Control really tried to give me a hard time with this one, and the landing itself definitely shows that! Probably the worst I've ever done within the simulator...

Any other airports you'd like me to do? Just shout them out! (Airport, Aircraft, Livery)

Nah, that's normal for GoJets.

I would've been fully configured before crossing the ridge then dive with spoilers deployed. Maybe even do an S turn to the right when out of the valley to get more distance for descent.

Heh, fair enough!

Weather was poor, and I was a little faster than I would have liked, so spoilers and the S-Turn would have helped me there! As long as we got down (no matter the hard landing), it's what happened! 😂
