il88pp
No, especially not if you load up fsx with (payware) addons. Get an Intel processor instead. Something like a i5 4460 or better. 3.4ghz or higher preferred. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
tgon
FSX is 10 year old software written for a single 32 bit core. Your PC spec is okay. However you need to consider what you'll buy from the add-on market to compliment FSX. Think about extra planes, scenery, weather, co-pilot, airports, etc, etc and check out the author's recommended optimum specs. Good luck with the set up. It can be complex work getting it all working together at best quality vs performance levels but an exciting project to do and enjoy afterwards! il88pp
Doesn't matter that it's an old program. It stresses the cpu to the max! There are still no pc's that can run fsx with all sliders to maximum. You really want the best processor available for fsx. And other parts to match.
