asos
When I the Roy Chaffin B-25, I have to wait till the mouse pointer turns to normal before I can load the plane by clicking into the "yellow box" on the screen. We have enough waiting as sim things go, I wonder why Roy introduced this unpleasant wait"... Does anyone know how we can disable this wait please? Avechelice
Hello, If I remember well .. it's the loading of the gauges Must be something in the readme about this It is also important that FS9 is run up using different aircraft with the 2D cockpit displayed and then change to the "B-25J RAF MkII". Strange things sometimes occur if you don't. When you choose the "B-25J RAF MkII" you will be faced with a Black/Loading screen for some time (Several Minutes), do not worry this is normal. All the gauges are loading so that you will get smooth performance thereafter. I can be wrong ! mrzippy
I have his B-25 model for FSX and don't remember a waiting period. I'm downloading the FS2004 model and will give it a try. Yep, I agree with Avechelice! I found that it took only about 2 seconds for the pointer to be normal to click on the yellow box. I tend to put any gauge files directly into the aircraft's panel folder instead of the Main Gauges folder. Don't know for sure if that makes any difference! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

Avechelice
Hello, That's because the shortcut(s) is for a FSX standard installation ! The link target you have selected could not be found: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\B-25J RAF MkII\Manual\Contents\Manual.htm Normally you can change this by going to the shortcut properties and editing "start in" ! asos
Could not find it trying what you all said. Installed the fsx version in a false temp folder--manual was not in there either. I will email the author and ask him for help.
