Timberleaf Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 With Active Sky 2016, when it gives you a "wind shear" alert, and visually shows it, how do you read the visual information? For example, with the attached image, what does the information mean? The yellow/black lines, or the red/black icon in the middle, are they indicating directional information? pvarn Posted September 17, 2016 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Timberleaf, For some assistance, see page 50 in the AS16 manual by clicking on the question mark at the bottom left of the AS16 program. In short, the Black/Red stripes are the immediate area of the shear.
