No T/D point on my ND on the PMDG 777

I am 230NM from my destination (New York) but I still can't see a top of descent point on my ND. I've selected my STAR and runway for landing but I've not received any messages telling me to reset my MCP altitude or any T/D markets on the ND

 

I would appreciate it if you guys could reply quickly as I am in a hurry to land my plane at New York.

 

This is also my first flight (that is not a tutorial flight) in the PMDG 777 and I am using a flight plan made on http://www.onlineflightplanner.org which I saved in the 777s flight plan folder. I am flying the 777-300

230nm is still far for the T/D. Check the PROG page, it will show you the distance to TD.

Depending on what your range is set to, that's where you'll see the T/D marker. If your range is set to 20 you will only see the T/D when it is within 20NM
