jparnold
I just noticed that I have at least one (passenger jet) aircraft where the air bridge will not connect to the aircraft (front door) using CTRL J. I have checked some other aircraft and it works with them. I have a look at the descriptions for the aircraft.cfg file but could not find anything there. Is the setting in the .AIR file (untouchable) and if not where is it? JSkorna
It's the exit locations that need to be adjusted. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png
StringBean
Several things going on here. Does the aircraft.cfg file have an [Exits] section? This defines where the doors are for the jetway to hook up to. FSX is also too picky about where the plane is in relationship to the jetway. If you are too far forward the jetway will not connect. Try parking a little farther from the jetway. The "T" is not always (hardly ever) a good reference and even choosing a parking spot from the airport selection screen can spawn the plane too close to the jetway. Make sure you have "Advanced Animations" checked in the settings. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots. jparnold
Thanks 'bean', I should have realised your would be 'lurking' nearby. Just checked and the aircraft does not have data in the [EXITS] section anything like what I see for those aircraft which the air bridge works with. At least I now know what is causing it and maybe I will do some research and 'playing' with the aircraft.cfg [exit] section. Yes I know about the need to position the aircraft correctly for the airbridge to work and that the postioned spawned on isn't always correct for the airbridge. [EXITS] is the go (for me) :) John Gigabyte Z390 UD Intel Core i7-9700K 3.60 Ghz Dual 16Gb DDR4 2666 Gigabyte RTX2060 OC 6GB 2 X 256MB SSD drives 1 X 500GB HDD Windows 10 64bit Home Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick
