LeFrog73
An interesting question. Are ATC experts here?
deltaceo
I find that Pro ATC X is by far the best when it comes to being as close to real world as you can get, it will follow SID's and STAR's, normal procedures and even emergency procedures and will also control your AI traffic, plus it will follow current NAVDATA flight plans, plus many more features. You can read more about it on their sale site here http://www.pointsoftware.de/proatcx_e/proatcxfeatures.html it really is well worth the price tag. Here is also a video of someone using it while in sim Here is some additional videos to show you how it works http://www.pointsoftware.de/proatcx_e/proatcxflight.html Here is some details on the program features: - Worldwide navigation database containing all data for airports, VORs, NDBs, Intersections, departure- and arrival procedures (SIDs/STARs). - The database can be actualized by Navdata-Pro ir Navigraph AIRAC data. - Additionally the installed scenery is taken into account. Runways/SIDs/STARs are deactivated when not available in scenery. - SIDs/STARs are assigned according to weather conditions. - Other SIDs can be requested. - AI is recognized and managed (not yet on ground, but while airborne). - Convenient Flight-Planner - Export and import of flightplans in different formats. - Automatic route calculation incorporating lower and upper airways. - Customizing a calculated route is still possible. - Departure and arrival procedures. - PMDG's 737 NGX is supported. - Airbus X Extended is supported. - Extensive copilot support for autopilot, flaps, brakes, speed brakes, gear, lighting, nav-radio, com-radio... All this is optional, you may even turn off copilot support completely - not a really good idea. - 12 checklists can be processed in teamwork with your copilot. - New checklists can be defined. Customizing the existing ones is also possible. - The GPS flightplan for FSX can be generated and loaded automatically. - The GPS flightplan for PMDG and AXE be generated automatically, but you have to load it via FMC. - Sound sets for pilot, copilot and controllers, specially recorded for PRO-ATC/X Coordinates and frequency dependent background ATC. You hear country, radar sector and even airport specific ATC. It is even extandable. - Holdings & Missed Approach supported. - Moving map shows your aircraft and all important information on a map An In-Flight menu shows your aircraft and all important information Executable on a networked PC. Plus many more features :-) Hope that has helped you! God Bless! Captain Walton © 2014
