Journey to Mount Rushmore National Monument, South Dakota

For this trip I usw my Cessna 340II.

First you have to plan a flight from KRAP to node D238P to ZAMBI to VOR RAP and KRAP. You have to tweek the plan because in FSX you can't do a roundtrip!

Starting from Rapid City (RAP) RW32 climb to 5200ft go to 233°, or navigate to D238P. At the Mountains you already can See the white point. Enjoy the Mount Rushmore National Monument! Now go back to ZAMBI, but be careful, climb to 6200ft the Mt.s are higher then 5500ft. Navigate to VOR RAP and Start decent to Rapid City Airport. Then you are done.... nice trip!

At least you didn't land at the nearby Airforce base like some airliners have done in the past :) Loved the pics! Have been to KRAP many times in the past. A nice place to visit :)
