PhantomTweak
But...but...WHERE'S the WATER landing Sir Peerhoven is so famous for?? And where's the BEER??? In the cargo hold? Something I always wondered: Can the engines develop enough thrust, with the brakes on, to make the tail lift off the ground before take-off? I may try it with the DC-3's I have. Be fun to try to balance on the mains before you start to roll... When I was flying gliders a long time ago, a fun thing to do, if the wind was right, was to have the line-boy (often ME, till I got my license) lift the wing up, then let go, and balance on the wheel with the ailerons. Good practice for flying, actually, and gave the line-boy a break. :) Great pictures, by the way, thanks for the post! Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Rupert
WOW!! I never thought I'd see a plane make a blimp look skinny! No worry someone would shoot at that thing. They'd be too busy pointing and laughing to even think of shooting!:cool::rolleyes: Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. Kdierken
Jan, what a different & unique looking aircraft. I wonder if these after the war were ever used as a small short hopper airline in Finland. Great set of pics. Kenny

PhantomTweak
Klee and Pat: about beer & cheese, I had some minor problems lately That, sir, is a horrible case of alcohol abuse! Actually, quite a number of cases of alcohol abuse! The HORROR. The horror. The horror... ;) :p I do hope you get help with that alcohol abuse, and call the cops on those cheese thieves. They deserve a long jail term. Sans cheese! Still, FUNNY!
