Wildthing
This is a question from a friend of mine who uses P3D 2.5 and wants to advance to 3.1. ATM the moment, he has logged nearly 200 hours of IFR in his P3D 2.5 logbook. He wants to back it up, before removing 2.5 and reinstalling 3.1. His question is where 2.5's logbook file is located and if 3.1 uses the same format/file as 2.5. Thus will 3.1 continue to add entries to the 2.5 file as time is accumulated? Jim Robinson
He needs to back up Logbook.bin and it's located in C:\Users\[YOU]\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2. Then after he gets v3 installed just start the sim once, close it, and put the Logbook.bin into the C:\Users\[YOU]\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 folder overwriting the one that's there. It appears to work, I just copied my v2.5 logbook.bin into my v3 folder and did a quick flight in the sim. The new v3 flight was appended to the existing log book as expected.
