HoratioWondersocks
Hi Guys, i have this message when i run fs9 it said: please login with admin privileges and try again i try to run stilll came with this message i try to run as admin yet still came out this message..... can i ask any solution?? it is really frustration yesterday my comp automatic window update and now came this problem... my comp is window 7 Jack Two things to do. First check this post ,it will explain all http://www .flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?293089-Sim-won-t-load! SECOND! You need the 'no CD fix for fs9' Google it. Your problem is caused by an update that Microsoft has installed automatically on your PC.(can't remember which one ,someone will advise) You should change your windows update options from automatically install ,to download updates but let YOU review them first before there installed .Doing this will prevent problems with unwanted updates messing with your PC. (Which is what's happened to you.) In summary ... The no CD fix for fs9 is what's required . You will then be up and running again in no time. longbreak754
+1 on Andy's suggestion The offending windows update (WU) is KB3086255 and post #9 (found here as Andy's link appears to be broken ;)) of the suggested thread details how to best remove the KB AND how to ensure that it doesn't get 'reloaded' into the WU or subsequently re-downloaded if MS decides to 'push' the KB again. Of course, getting the 'no-cd' fix means that you won't have to worry about doing anything about the KB Regards Brian
