Invalid hardware or driver detected

Hello:

When I open up FSX I am getting the above referenced error, and then FSX closes. I actually have a pretty good Idea what caused it. It started to occur after I deleted some NVidia software and drivers off my PC. I did so, because I no longer have a NVidea card, I have a Radeon Card.

I tried deleting the FSX.CFG file for a rebuild; but that didn't work.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave

Have you cleaned your registry out? Deleting software does not always clear the registry correctly. Run a registry cleaner such as CCleaner.

If you still have a problem, uninstall the Radeon driver as well, rescan the registry, then reinstall Radeon.
