ferrc5041 Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Hey guys, Been away for awhile... but wanted to post up my new SR-71 video. The video is based out of Kadena AFB in Okinawa, JP. It is a full video from engine start, all the way to a manual landing at the end... no ILS used. Video came out pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed on the low-level pass bits, as they got a bit "choppy"... however, I am pretty satisfied overall. It is in 1080p. Hope everyone is well! To do a military style tactical climb in full afterburner right off the runway like depicted, you have to pitch up about 30 to 40 degrees for a good while just to keep her out of overspeed at a safe 450KEAS.
