FlightSem Software (FSS) Addon Scenery for FSX - Module 1: Calshot Spit.
Scenery Module 1: Calshot Spit enhances the default scenery of the area situated at the mouth of Southampton Water in the United Kingdom which marks the entrance to the Solent. Calshot Spit, with its Coastguard radar tower and mote Tutor Castle, was the original home to the famous Sunderland flying boat and one of the chosen sites for 'The Jacques Schneider Maritime Trophy' Air Races held in the 1920's. Its unique position provides spectacular views across the shores of the Solent and supports one of the country's most popular watersport locations. Further along from the Activities Centre are Houston, Keymer and Lawrence houses, while wooden beach huts can be seen strung along the shingle-beach - Luttrell’s Tower is visible in the distance.
