About This File

FSX/Acceleration Package Boeing-Saab T-7A Redhawk. This advanced tactical trainer, formerly known as Boeing-Saab T-X, which exceeds the sonic bareer is supposed to replace the older models like Northrop T-38 Talon or BAE Hawk. Additional to the prototype this package comes with a clean and an armed Navy model and an Air Force model with 10 missiles, which are not yet on the market. Probably the models will also fly in FS2004 and P3dV3 (no glossy textures in P3d!) but it is not tested and no guarantee and support ist given. FSDS model and VC-Textures by Erwin Welker. Exterior textures by André Ludick.

Released

I've added a 4th model which has now 3 droptanks as payload. Assigned to this model are the red & white textures from Andre Ludick.

Since this version has a white canopy I have also changed the window front frame in the 3D model and also in the colour in the 2D panel.

For the upper gauge in the middle I found now a better solution: An annunciator instead of the keyboard (I have kept for the Navy version) and the MFD of the first version.

Anyway, the user can choose a config regarding his gusto. The previous configs you'll find in the panel.cfg of the Panel.Tanks

Hello Erwin,
You have created an aircraft that no one has ever seen in FSX.
It's worth it and I'm happy.
We still have a lot of things we can do with FSX.
Enjoy more creation!

Excellent package that runs well on Steam FSX. Fine looking exterior models plus VC and 2D panels. Has a clear HUD which I find helpful in fast jets, and the Redhawk sure is fast. Good to have Air Force and Navy versions. The "readme" explains panel setup for carrier operations. Made a couple of changes - raised the pilot's viewpoint a little to help with runway approaches, and disabled the ground proximity alerts. I know this is a training aircraft but being told to "pull up", "don't sink" etc during aerobatic manoeuvers is slightly annoying. Thanks to developers for a great package.
