MSFS 2020 Scenery--Grebenstein Castle, Germany. Grebenstein Castle is situated on a basalt rock above the town of Grebenstein in N.-Hessia (GER), 2.5 km north of Kassel-Calden airport. It was rather a fortified house than a major castle, but has played its role in the area during medieval times. What is to be seen today are the outer walls of the former palas building. The castle walls and moat are no longer visible. This scenery removes vegetation from the castle site, adds the model of the castle remains and also removes some false water (lake or river) from the valley between the castle and the town center.
