About This File

X-Plane 11.50+ Fairey Fulmar Mk.II 1.0. The Fairey Fulmar was a British carrier-borne reconnaissance aircraft/fighter aircraft developed and manufactured by aircraft company Fairey Aviation. It was named after the northern fulmar, a seabird native to the British Isles. The Fulmar served with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm during the Second World War. The aircraft presented here is a Fulmar Mk.II with a Merlin XXX engine of 809 Sqn of the Fleet Air Arm. It was used aboard HMS Victorious during Operation Pedestal in August 1942 in order to protect British convoys to Malta. Credits goes to Beber for the use of his pilot. By Philippe Gastebois.
