X-Plane 11 Scenery--Christy Airstrip CA97 California 1.0. This scenery package contain Christy Airstrip (CA97) and custom ortho-overlay (ZL19). Christy Airstrip is one of three airstrips on Santa Cruz Island, the largest of the Channel Islands, California (CA), USA. It's a privately owned and private use airstrip with a 2500' grass runway. It's a decently challenging strip, in particular the approach for runway 09. Go here if Catalina is too crowed with weekend flyers or you simply want to explore what the Channel Islands have to offer. Great hiking opportunities included. You won't find it on the sectional. I placed quite a bit of vegetation on this one, so let me know if your performance takes a too large hit and I will reduce it for an updated version.
