FS2004 Scenery--Elk Island Lodge CKZ3 In North Manitoba Canada. Elk Island is a large island in Gods Lake, and the Lodge and the airfield are on the midpoint of the western island shore. And also at the midpoint between the three nearby airfields of Gods River, Gods Lake Narrows, and Gods Lake Lodge. There are videos online explaining the size of the lodge and the size of the fish that can be caught; 53 inches of pike? That would catch anybody's attention on the end of a line. The Lodge is quite a large operation with individual cabins as well as the main Lodge space. There are also remote cabins on other lakes for those that like to dump the internet and wash their own dishes while "fishing from 6am to 10pm in June". That is a quote from the owner's interview. The airfield is at 625 feet above sea level and has 3,500 feet of gravel runway aligned 06-24. It is only for summer use and has no lights or PAPI etc. CKZ3 is a registered airfield and is included in the Nav Canada airfield handbook, with the operator named as the "Elk Island Lodge". This is posted as an individual airport with textures etc but should preferably be added into the Gillam post by copying over the BGL's and textures (though some of the textures are probably already in the Gillam post).
