Where IS the community folder? Can you give me sample path to MSFS? (I did a search for "community" on my C: drive and came up with nothing)

Well I need some specific guidance as I cannot find the 'community folder'!

Please spell it out in writing.

its nice to have it in the sim, but its a bit janky, it does not sit to well with the mesh. there a huge gap and it spoils the hard work put it. it looks good from a distance but you will notice these flaws when you get closer

The bridge structure is excellent, but the approaches need to be twice the length and the approach angle reduced. The addition of lighting would complete a wonderful addition.

The Steam version community folder is located here by default

C:\Users\"YourUserName"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

If you changed the location during the installation or after installing the game or you just want to straight up know, you can still find it in the Developer menu.

1. Start Flight Sim

2. Go to Options, then General

3. Click the last tab called "Developers" and turn on Developer mode

4. In the top left, click on the Tools tab

5. Click on Virtual File System

6. In the box that opens up, open the tab called Watched Bases

7. These are the file locations that Flight Sim is referencing for the game. One of the three files there should be, the Community folder you will want to install add-ons into the sim. Just hover your mouse over the links, and the paths to the folders will become visible to you, including the path to your Community folder.

8. Finally exit Flight Sim and go into File Explorer to go find your Community folder.

9. Most downloads for fight sim 2020 will go in there. Finding this folder is truly the hardest part of installing add-ons into FS2020. But believe me, this is truly the easiest it has ever been to install add-ons into Flight Simulator, ever.

*One more note, AppData folder is usually a hidden folder. To make it visible using File Explorer, go to the folder you will find the AppData folder in (in my case, "YourUserName"), and at the top you are going to want to click the View tab. Then check the box that says Hidden Items. The AppData folder will now become visible to you.
