About This File

X-Plane 11.40+ Vought OS2-U Kingfisher 2.0. The Vought OS2U Kingfisher is an American catapult-launched observation floatplane. It was a compact mid-wing monoplane, with a large central float and small stabilizing floats. Performance was modest because of its low-powered engine. The OS2U could also operate on fixed, wheeled, taildragger landing gear. This is a Jacques Brault original model, rolled forward by Dataroots, who has subsequently conferred permission to bring through to V11+. Slight modified to improve flying characteristics/useability but otherwise visually unchanged. By Ray Hill.

Could take off only after closing the canopy by using the raise gear command (so until closed the program thinks the landing gear is down I guess). And I was never able to see the instrument panel - tried all of the normal view controls. It was fun flying around St. Thomas, USVI.
