FS2004/FSX Southern Martlet. The Southern Martlet biplane was the first aircraft designed by a new British aircraft company, Southern Aircraft,under the part ownership of F. G. Miles. Later, with a new company, he was responsible for the Miles aircraft series. It was designed to be a single-seat sports aircraft for aerobatics and racing. The prototype first flew in public in 1929. In all six were built incorporating various modifications and engines. The sole remaining aircraft is stored and flown at the Shuttleworth Trust Old Warden airfield. Although made for FS2004 the model performs well in FSX. Modelled by Dave Molyneaux.
