Good job on the Liberator.. The engines sound like a beast and the period gauges are excellent. The FDE seems to be what a heavy airplane like this would be. No surprises. There are a couple of minor quirks...When selecting E1 on the keyboard, Engine #2 responds. E3 elicits a response from Engine#4 and E2 will cause Engine #3 to reply. In addition, when Engine #3 is running, the manifold and prop gauges of number 2 are responding in the cockpit. This is only a minor glitch. The airplane sounds, handles and has the feel of a war beast. Thank you for this gift..looking forward to many repaints as I'll have this one in the skies a lot. Blue skies...Terry

hey Stephern,

Hold the brakes, give full power, release brakes, put about 4 ticks of up trim and you should be off.

Stephern - Yes it will, read the Checklist/Procedures, it states 20* flaps, and rotate at 130 KIAS. I, too, fought it for the longest time and then happened on the procedures sheet! Yes, and AFS stated, 4 ticks up up trim will also help!

It is a very nice download!

Okay, couple more items:

1) aircraft.cfg is missing a [flight_tuning] section. I copied and pasted one from another download. All entries are

1.00.

2) Aircraft wants to pull to the right side of the runway and then some! It's not your joystick causing it. Check out the [GeneralEngineData] section of the aircraft.cfg file. On the line entry for engine.3, it reads:

engine.3=8.50, 26.50, 0.2 it should read engine.3=8.50, 26.65, 0.2

You can then relax, look at the runway when rolling, it might ease slightly to the right, but it will not take you into the grass, that is for sure! This just about whipped me, but the last check of the aircraft.cfg, I noticed it did not agree with corresponding value for the opposite wing!

I think I have everything worked out for my download, it is a very nice flier and it will be in my hangar permanently! Enjoy! Rick :cool:
