X-Plane 11.25+ Mitsubishi J2M-3 Raiden 1.0. The Mitsubishi J2M-3 Raiden (Thunderbolt) was a local defense interceptor designed to intercept high altitude bombers. The Raiden made its combat debut in June 1944 during the Battle of the Philippine Sea. Several J2Ms operated from Guam and Saipan and a small number of aircraft were deployed to the Philippines. The one presented here is an aircraft of 302nd Kokutai in 1945 which was based at Tinian in the Mariana Islands. Credit goes to Beber for the use of his pilot. By Philippe Gastebois.
