About This File

X-Plane 11 Tucker XP-57 1.0. The Tucker XP57 was the designation of a lightweight fighter which was proposed to the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) in 1940. Nicknamed the "Peashooter", it was developed by the Tucker Aviation Corporation under Preston Tucker, who later became famous for the Tucker '48 Sedan. What you see here is an attempt at depicting what an operational P-57 might have looked like. The author of this X-Plane mod has based his artwork on an existing, but sketchy profile view of the XP-57. Since this is a modern X-Plane reproduction, the instruments too are all current, with glass, instruments, HUD, and Garmin G1000. Comprehensive documentation included in the package. By Billy Bargagliotti.
