FS2004/FSX Braniff 1955 Lockheed L-049. The Lockheed Constellation in Braniff livery, part of the Frank Gonzalez Memorial Repaint Collection. CN/2081 was built as a L-049-46-25 for TWA but delivered to LAV as YV-C-AME on 10-31-1946. In 1955, Braniff bought two Lockheed L-049 Constellations from LAV, a Venezuelan airline. They were used to supplement Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Illinois service and served from 1955 to 1959. The two "Connies" were nicknamed "Fear" and "Panic" by the pilots and maintenance crew.
