X-Plane 11 Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 B-17 F Flying Fortress, converted for X-Plane 11. The Boeing B17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps. X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel.
