X-Plane 11 Avro Shackleton Mk.3 1.0. The Avro Shackleton was a Royal Air Force long-range patrol bomber developed from the Avro Lincoln bomber with a new fuselage. It was originally used primarily in the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) roles, and was later adapted for airborne early warning (AEW), search and rescue (SAR) and other roles from 1951 until 1990. X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel.
