About This File

X-Plane 8 And 9 Curtiss AT-9 Jeep. The Curtiss AT-9 Fledgling, better known by its nickname "Jeep" was an advanced trainer used during the war for pilots making the transition to multi-engine aircraft. It had a reputation for being difficult to fly, but this attribute contributed towards producing skilled pilots for twin engined bombers. The first prototype flew in 1941 and the production version entered service as the AT-9 in 1942.Thanks to Dataroots for providing the sound files and also to Ho-Hun for a few of the custom instruments.
