About This File

FS2004 Nippon Yuran Koku DeHavilland DH-104 Dove, 1960. This texture set depicts JA5046, one of three Doves operated by the small Japanese airline "Nippon Yuran Koku", or "Japan Sightseeing Air Service". Founded in 1952 as Aoki Air Transport, renamed to Nippon Yuran Koku in 1956, and subsequently renamed to Fujita Airlines in 1961, this airline provided air services out of Tokyo Haneda to Oshima Island and Hachijo Jima Island. Following a fatal crash in August of 1963 and the subsequent loss of trade, it merged into All Nippon Airlines by November of that year. JA5046 was sold in 1966 as N5648V to Hawaiian Air Tourist Service, where it was flown until the early 1980s. Prior installation of Derek Palmer's de Havilland Dove (DH104V2.ZIP) is required.
