About This File

FS2004/FSX Blackburn B-2 Trainer. This highly polished biplane is a well-known resident at the Shuttleworth vintage aircraft collection at Old Warden airfield. G-AEBJ was built by Blackburn Aircraft Ltd in 1936, it was one of only 42 sold after the prototype was first flown in 1931, and is the only one still flying today. Don't expect a sizzling performance from this vintage trainer, it was built for strength, not speed. Built in Gmax for FS2004, it also performs reasonably well in FSX. By David Molyneaux.

Ran it in FSX/Acceleration and it's beautiful. Even the texture issue at night is livable. Really enjoyed how manageable in the Colorado Rockies this plane is! It can fly through the high valleys and canyons amazingly well. The high shine makes it a real eye-grabber too!

Brilliant ...This aircraft was located at Blackburn 's - Brough - during my apprenticeship there(1950ish)

Have been looking for the possibility of a Sim model for some years... so thank you Mr Molyneaux

for this wonderful addition to the Sim world

Runs perfectly under FSX SE. Very beautiful sim! Thank you. Definitely not a very fast plane, but pleasant to fly.
