About This File

FSX 2D Boeing 757 Panel. This is a pretty realistic 2D panel for the B757. It can be used on 200 and 300 series but has V speeds only for the 200 series (for RR and P&W engines). It is designed for large hi-res screens 1920x1080 and will be illegible on smaller screens. All gauges are new and specific to the Boeing 757. It has been tested on the Project Open Sky model but should work with any model. By G. Munro.

I like this panel, especially because it's make for wide screen. The only problem I have is I can not change the radio frequency. I can click on the dial or the numbers, left or right mouse button. The numbers never change. The ADF, transponder, and course setting work fine but there's no way I can enter an ILS frequency. That's for both the left and right radio display.

Yes, I found this problem can occur if Nav.1 in the [Radio] section of the aircraft.cfg is set to 1,0,1. If you change this to 1,1,1 and Nav 2 to 1,1,0 it should be OK. There are a few other bugs I have found too - e.g. the approach lines on the Standby Attitude indicator are back to front. I will try to publish some fixes reasonably soon. The radio problem however is not really a bug - its a result of the configuration.

Thanks for checking this, but I think you may have stated the radio config backwards. I checked my aircraft.cfg file and Nav 1 was already set to 1,1,1 so I changed it to 1,0,1 and now it works fine! I changed Nav 2 to 1,0,0 and it's OK now also. I'm happy :-)
