X-Plane 9 And 10 Hawker Tempest Mk V, v1.00. This is the Tempest Mk V, one of the fastest piston engined fighters of WW2. It was famous for hunting down V1 rockets over Britain. It is powered by the Napier Sabre engine, with 2400 hp available on take off, and was able to reach speeds as high as 435 MPH at 19000 feet. It comes with two liveries, one depicting the "Grand Charles" flown by Pierre Clostermann, one of the best allied aces of the war, totaling 33 aerial combat victories and the other depicts the Mk V in the bare metal finish used after WW2 by the RAF.
