X-Plane 8 And 9 Polikarpov I-16 Rata. The diminutive I-16 was the backbone of the USSR air force before WW2 until 1943. It was a very advanced design for its time and is much fun to fly. Beware of torque. Its small size combined with a 900 HP engine makes it a nervous beast which is a challenge to master. Thanks to Dataroots for providing the sound files.
