About This File

FSX Boeing 307 Stratoliner, v1.1. The Boeing 307 was the first pressurized airliner. Because of the war, only ten were built, initially for Pan American and TWA (and a special version for Howard Hughes). Five versions are included here, in Pan Am and TWA colors as well as Airnautic and Aigle Azur. This version 1.1 is for FSX only, and has been modified to work correctly with all versions of FSX. FS2004 users should download B307_V10.ZIP instead. By Jens B. Kristensen.

Very nice flying aircraft. One thing I noticed, steerable tailwheel not working the way it should. In the aircraft.cfg file, contact points, point .1 is the tailwheel and points .0 and .3 are the main gear. Scroll over to where you see the 3 fields entered as 22.0 and change point .1 from 22.0 to 60.0, and then renumber both .0 and .3 to 0.0.

You will see a big difference, a nice large aircraft easy to taxi!
